ViewPoint! is not a blog in the traditional sense. I am not going to be placing posts of my daily activities or tracking such things as stock market trends or the latest news in the world of high fashion. And even though The More Sure Word (TMSW) is a Bible teaching site, I’m not going to be tracking the latest in Church news, events or controversies.
What then is the purpose of ViewPoint! you may rightly ask?
ViewPoint! is intended to fill several needs. One is to be a place for me to post continuations of articles which appear in the Revealed Truth Bible Study. Such articles will be posted as I receive greater insight on the subject of a particular article. As you know, there is always more to receive since God is without beginning or end. Everything I have posted in the Revealed Truth Bible study section, formerly the Bible Training Center, was written from insights I received from the Holy Spirit as I studied God’s word. As I continue to study, new revelations are sometimes received. When this occurs, I will pass the new information on to you in the form of a ViewPoint! article. I prefer to do that rather than add new articles to the study. The material in the study makes up a pretty comprehensive review of Biblical blood covenant. Adding more detailed information might make the study more confusing for readers studying covenant for the first time.
Another way I will use this blog is to post what are for me totally new revelations from the Holy Spirit when I receive them. As I continue to study I gain new insights into the word. At times I also receive what I consider to be significant revelations that should be shared with the body of Christ. ViewPoint! is the place where such revelations will be shared with you the TMSW community. Of course, I am not the only one who receives important insights from the Holy Spirit. You do as well, and I am interested to hear what you have received. You can use the comment function for that purpose.
And that leads to the final gaol for ViewPoint!. The body of Christ is built up when believers share what they have received from the Holy Spirit with a community of like believers. I sincerely hope you will share what you receive with the TMSW community. I also want to hear your thoughts, suggestions and opinions on the articles posted in this blog, as well as any of the postings in Revealed Truth or other sections of the site. The blog articles, like all of the material on the site are open for discussion. I encourage you to use the comment facility for that purpose. Just click on the green wpDiscuz comment button at the bottom left of the screen to enter your viewpoints. If enough of you take advantage of this function it might grow into something more that a comment platform. We, the TMSW community and myself, are looking forward to hearing from you.
