14.9 Parables are Double Sided

The printed words of a Biblical parable are only a small part of the parable. Each contains within it a serious and significant moral lesson … placed there by God … for those who seek to find … and for our instruction. Parables have two sides … one physical, the outside … the other spiritual, the inside. Therefore, there are two ways to see a Bible parable. The outside portion of a parable (the printed words) is seen with your physical eyes. The inner portion is seen by the spiritual eyes or your heart as revealed by the Holy Spirit. A parable is understood when it is seen through both senses of sight … first the physical … then the spiritual.
